The SEALFIT Advanced Academy is an intensive team leadership learning experience with a lifetime of content in just 8 days. Each day, we begin at sunrise with challenging physical and mental training sessions. Throughout the day the training varies between physical, classroom time, clinics and developing the “inner warrior-athlete.” 

All the major concepts and methods of SEALFIT and Unbeatable Mind are covered. You’ll get firsthand experience with rigorous endurance training (such as rucking with weight), functional interval and weight training, classroom time that covers the SEALFIT and Unbeatable Mind way of life, mental and awareness training with concentration, breathing, meditation and other focus techniques, team building with Log and Grinder PT, leadership drills and more. It’s non-stop action and training from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

This course is accelerated learning in structure, intensity and the fact that our elite SEALFIT coaches push you every step of the way. There’s no other way to gain greater stamina, strength, poise, confidence and peak overall performance in such a short amount of time.

How Do You Know if the SEALFIT Advanced Academy Is Right for You?

The Advanced Academy attracts students from all over the world that want to challenge themselves and thrive, not just live their lives. Attendees have either completed the SEALFIT Basic Academy and have trained an additional 3-6 months or more; or are military, first responder, CrossFit or endurance athletes who have put a significant emphasis on their physical training and are striving to find their peak performance.

While challenging, if you can meet or exceed the physical recommendations, then you will be able to handle the workload of the Advanced Academy. The most important part is the willingness to learn and let yourself be pushed beyond your current limits, as this academy expands your performance in ways you never dreamed possible.

Event Dates

● 5 Pair Black BDU Ripstock Pants
● Several pairs of compression shorts
● 1 pair of “broken in” boots
● Minimum 8-10 white SEALFIT T-shirts or regular white T-Shirts with crew neck.
● 1 BDU Utility Belt (Black)
● 1 backpack/ruck
● 1 pair swim fins
● 1 swim mask or goggles
● Several pairs of workout or WOD shorts
● Water Bottle
● Socks (layer for long hikes)
● Running shoes
● 1 warm sweatshirt or outer jacket
● Toiletries/shave kit
● Casual attire for off-hours


The following medical conditions require doctor approval:

Diabetes Type 1 insulin dependent
Any type of heart/valvular shunts or stints
History of seizures
Currently on prescription pain medications

You should train rigorously for the Advanced Leadership Academy camp following the training protocol in SEALFIT Online

Students should be able to complete the following:
● 50 push ups (40 for women) in 2 minutes, 50 sit-ups in 2 minutes and 50 air squats in 2 minutes, with 2 minutes of rest between each movement.
● 10 dead hang pull-ups for men, 6 for women, no time limit
● 1 mile run in boots and utility pants on road in 9:30
● Body Armor (aka Murph) with 20# pack (10% body weight for women): 75 minutes

Endurance standards to guide your preparation:
● 10 mile run in less than 1 hour and 20 minutes
● 20 mile road march with 30 lb load in less than 6 hours

● Swim 200 yards in Open Water. 
You do not need to be an avid swimmer, but you are required to have some water experience. This does not need to be ocean experience, just a level of comfort in the water.

Minimum age is 17 years old with parental permission; there is no maximum age limit. No matter the age, the physical requirements must be met.
