MARK DIVINE
The MENTAL TOUGHNESS Expert
Mark will kick off the Challenge with a private LIVE training where he’ll teach you how to set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timely & positively stated goals for this challenge and in life. He'll also cover breathwork, visualization, and teamwork. Who better to train you on how to stay focused, set your goals, and achieve them than CEO of SEALFIT Mark Divine?

Mark will also share the 6 Pillars of Health with you and show you how to assess how well you are aligning with each pillar. He will then talk about two of the Pillars: Connecting With Nature & Engaging With Your Community, as well as how important it is to your success that we support one another. 

MELANIE SLIWKA
NUTRITION Expert & Your Performance Challenge Coach
Coach Melanie will take you through this challenge with daily emails, lead the interactions on your private Facebook group, and hold 3 LIVE “Office Hours” sessions where you’ll be able to ask any questions and connect with the group. 

Melanie’s a specialty SEALFIT Coach and Nutrition Expert. She’ll show you how to align your diet with your SEALFIT workouts to achieve optimal results.
ROBB WOLF
The NUTRITION Expert
Robb Wolf is a former research biochemist and the New York Times/WSJ Best Selling author of The Paleo Solution and Wired To Eat. Robb will focus on the Pillar of Nutrition and show you how to balance your nutrition and fitness for optimal energy and performance. He'll go over the ketogenic diet and how to get on course with healthful eating. 

Robb will answer questions about how to get rid of eating foods that are slowing you down and how to form better habits around less nutritionally desirable foods. Learn how to reduce allergies, food sensitivities, and inflammation with the right foods. He'll also go over the benefits and drawbacks of taking supplements.
DR GABRIELLE LYON
Functional Medicine Expert
Dr. Gabrielle Lyon is a Washington University fellowship-trained physician in Nutritional Science and Geriatrics and is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation. She completed her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, Vitamin, and Mineral Metabolism at the University of Illinois. Dr. Lyon is the founder of the Institute for Muscle Centric-Medicine™. She services the leaders, innovators, mavericks, and executives in their prospective field. In addition, Gabrielle works closely with the Special Operations Military and has a private practice that services patients worldwide. 
LUKE TAN
Plant-Based Nutrition Expert 
Luke is a published author, vegucator and the co-host of the Plant Fit Summit. Originally based in Melbourne, Australia, Luke was formerly a strength and conditioning coach for Australian Strength Performance .

As an athlete, Luke has competed as a vegan and placed in natural bodybuilding competitions in Australia, and in the US with team Plantbuilt. In 2017, he competed with Plantbuilt again as a CrossFit athlete.

Luke's vision is to elevate strength in men to achieve new levels of consciousness.
Kara Lazauskas
SEALFIT Kokoro Graduate Kara Lazauskas was born to be a Titan. At just three years old, Kara had her left lung removed due to a tumor. But that certainly hasn't stopped her. It's made her stronger. 
 
She captured the attention of millions thanks to a stunning display of athleticism on The Titan Games, the NBC physical competition series hosted by "The Rock."
 
The New Jersey native and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist now lives in California, where she's the Muscle Research Coordinator at California State University in Fullerton. 
 
Kara will focus on the Exercise Pillar, specifically your commitment to training. Learn how hard you should actually train and what signals from your body to watch for that let you if you're pushing yourself too far. She'll explain how endorphins can both help and hinder your training. And she'll help you set goals specific to your individual needs and abilities. You'll also learn about the critical importance of muscle development and which natural stimulants you can take to help get you going.

The SLEEP Expert
Doc Parsley has been a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine since 2006 and has served as Naval Special Warfare’s expert on Sleep Medicine. He consults for multiple corporations and professional athletes/teams. Doc Parsley lectures worldwide on sleep, wellness, and hormonal optimization.
 
As one of the 6 Pillars, the importance of sleep to your training, fueling, and cognitive function cannot be underestimated. Many diseases and disorders that we accept as “inevitable” in modern society are unnecessary complications of poor sleeping habits.
 
Dr. Parsley will explain how to get proper sleep, how Circadian rhythm works, and how age and hormones affect your sleep. You’ll also learn how to recover from a lack of sleep properly and what to do to foster deep sleep.

So many great things to report on at the end of week 4! For starters, weight is down 7.8 pounds! I sustained a 5 pound weight loss from the Clean eating challenge so grand total is 12.8 pounds! My caloric intake has gone down considerably. I was eating 1600-1800 cal/day and now at 1000-1200 and actually have more energy. Healthwise, I had been feeling sluggish, was “apparently” snoring a lot and my blood pressure was going up (150/80 prior to the challenge). I was about to bite the bullet and see a doctor for my blood pressure but I am a doctor and hate seeing doctors because they prescribe medicine so I decided to wait and see what more tweaks in my diet and a stronger commitment to exercise would do. This week’s BP was 108/70. My snoring has also gotten better and I’m sleeping like a baby! ‎
