Great words of advice, Commander, especially for those of us who the world thinks are past our prime. At age 57, after years of “sort of” being in shape, I decided to climb Mt. Rainier, a climb that requires serious physical conditioning. Four years later, after what seems to be multiple attempts by my body to sabotage my plan (including a triple bypass and back surgery), I’m still determined to reach the summit. Please keep reminding us old guys that you really can achieve great things in spite of your age and the setbacks life throws at us. HOOYAH!
Thanks Mark…I needed that. You are a great help an inspiration!
“You’re not doing the work!”
The hard-to-hear truth right there.
Thanks Coach!
