Jon Atwater is a good friend and an amazing human being. Jon and I first met when he agreed to come be our Master Brewer at the Coronado Brewing Company 15 years ago. We quickly became fast friends with both he and his wife Jenny.
Several summers ago we enjoyed a visit to the new sustainable home they were building in Durango, Colorado. It is there that Jon fell off the deck and broke his neck earlier this year. (Read more about his courage here.)
Jon is working hard on recovering and I know he will walk again. He is truly an Unbeatable Mind warrior in every way and his Kokoro spirit is unbreakable.
But – they need help to pay for the long road to recovery so I am asking the SEALFIT / UM and US CrossFit community to join us in a fundraising effort on their behalf. 96% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards his physical therapy and any necessary handicap modifications that he may need to get by.
So – time to support a teammate! Please come join us on May 10th, for an all day event to meet Jon, do a workout if you desire, and to build our service muscle.
